Booking Policies
Last updated: March 2026. These policies apply to all bookings made through Aqua Aeterna Maldives.
Payment Terms
Aqua Aeterna Maldives operates on a full-payment model. The complete booking amount is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- All prices are quoted in USD unless stated otherwise.
- Payment may be made by card via BML Secure Checkout, by bank transfer, by BML payment link, or by supported cryptocurrency (USDT, USDC, BTC, ETH).
- For high-value bookings, a secure payment link may be issued by our team within 24 hours of booking request submission.
- Cryptocurrency payments must be completed within 30 minutes of the quoted rate. USD amounts are locked at the time of checkout.
All bookings are subject to availability confirmation from the resort or supplier. Full confirmation and voucher issuance will follow within 24–48 hours of payment.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation terms vary by resort, travel period, and package type. The following general terms apply unless superseded by the resort's own policy:
- More than 60 days before arrival: Full refund, less a processing fee of USD 150.
- 31–60 days before arrival: 50% refund of total booking value.
- 15–30 days before arrival: 25% refund of total booking value.
- 14 days or less before arrival: No refund. Full amount is forfeited.
- No-show: No refund.
Cancellations must be submitted in writing to aquaaeternamv@gmail.com with your booking reference. Verbal cancellations are not accepted.
Amendments
Date changes and amendments are subject to availability and may incur additional charges, particularly during peak season (December–April, July–August).
- Amendment requests must be submitted at least 30 days before arrival.
- Amendments made within 30 days of arrival are treated as cancellations for the original booking and a new booking is created.
- Room or villa category upgrades are subject to availability and rate differences.
Refund Policy
Eligible refunds are processed within 10–14 business days of the approved cancellation request. Refunds are returned via the original payment method where possible.
- Card refunds: 10–14 business days.
- Bank transfer refunds: 5–10 business days.
- Cryptocurrency refunds: equivalent USD value returned to a nominated wallet within 7 business days. Exchange rate fluctuations are not compensated.
Transfer Conditions
Seaplane and speedboat transfers are subject to weather conditions and operational availability. In the event of transfer delays or changes due to weather:
- Alternative transfers will be arranged at no additional cost where possible.
- Overnight accommodation may be required in Malé in the case of severe weather. This cost is not covered by Aqua Aeterna unless included in the booking.
- Seaplane transfers are generally available between 06:00 and 16:00 local time. Arrivals outside these hours require speedboat or domestic flight connections.
No-Show Policy
Guests who fail to arrive on the confirmed check-in date without prior notification will be treated as a no-show. No refund will be issued. The remainder of the booking will be cancelled unless the guest contacts our team prior to the scheduled arrival.
